Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The NHS and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases.
The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

If you have a fever or cough please do not attend the surgery.

Clinics & Services

Maternity Services

The doctors provide pre-pregnancy counselling and post-natal care in normal surgeries and arrange ante-natal care with the midwives.

Child Health Immunisation

The immunisations for the under 5’s are carried out by the practice nurses in special clinics by appointment at St Helens Road on Wednesday 14:00 – 16:00.

Minor Surgery

The doctors treat some minor skin conditions and warts with liquid nitrogen. However, we are no longer able to carry out any cutting procedures. Please book an appointment with the Doctor, and inform the receptionist if the appointment is for freezing.

Travel Immunisations

Remember to complete a travel form and make an appointment with the nurse as soon as possible to ensure you have completed all immunisations prior to your journey. Forms are available from reception or available to print off from the travel vaccination page.
