Alternatively you can register for our online services, to do this you will need to fill in a form at the surgery

Please be aware that as from the 26th July 2019 certain medications for minor health conditions such as hayfever, insect bites, sunburn and head lice will no longer be available on prescription. To find out more, visit www.nhs.uk/otcmedicines.

We will not be able to take requests for medication over the telephone.

If your local pharmacy orders your repeat prescriptions for you, they MUST contact you the week before to check which medications you require. Please DO NOT request items you have enough of already e.g., creams, sprays etc.

Electronic Prescription Service

Prescriptions can also be sent electronically to your nominated Pharmacy. To sign up you should go to your pharmacy and complete a nomination form.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
